If you have already done it this way then leave it. You can correct it later if you receive a checklist. They will need to submit information as to how they are household members. So for instance photocopies of all of their driver's licenses showing the same address or bills going to the same address etc...

Then yes it would be beneficial for her to sign a completed I-864 because her household count would be one less.
