You missunderstand what can be expedited. Even if you had the best reason in the world for expedite, the waiting for a priority date (currently about 2.5 years for spouse of a greencard holder) CANNOT be expedited. What can be expedited is the actual processing- ie for a US citizen it usually takes 9-12 months to get a spouse here- that is the actual processing of the case. That part can be expedited with good reason, such as terminal illness or impending deployment with the US military.

Again, I understand wanting to be with your wife and child, but remember it';s not only your business on the line- by leaving the USA for an extended period of time, you also risk loosing your greencard.

What did you mean that I misunderstand? Maybe I did, can you explain in more detail. what is the reason then to expedite if the dates remain the same? it is not just making sense if processing can be expedited but dates remain the same. Sorry but I didn't get what you meant. It is not that I just want to be with my family, it is actually secondary reason, As I point in my past replies the situation is critical for woman with one child to staying alone in my country. I know people stayed for 2 years and came back to US without a single problem at all.

It will be a big lost but Family is first. And it is important for me.

Thanks

Yeah, that is the problem, I'm not a US citizen yet, and it seems it is taking forever for I130 to get processed. it just was my goal to create more working position so others can benefit from that as well. hence it is not working the way I made it on my business plan.

You are totally in the point all the way.

you need to request another expedite service under family unity but you need to do it in writing/ by email them a letter explain your situation base on the facts... you really need to pour out your heart and explain every details specially about your daughter need you since shes young they'll listen. I got my expedite was approved after 65days. Good luck!

You are wrong. Your case got expedite because you are US citizen.

OP is a Green Card Holder, he has to wait for the priority date to become available.

As Penguin_ie has mentioned in the early post:

"In short: Once they work on your case, an expedite can make them work faster.

They are not working on your case, they are waiting for your number to come up.

A greencard holder's waiting time CANNOT be expedited."

Well you can not speed up the process so it seems that the only option is to close up.

Could you not sell the business?

In any business one has to duplicate themselves (no one is indispensable,& no one will do things like you)

train one individual, have a close friend monitor your biz,set up cctv to biz if its that big & lucrative, don't spend more

5 months away, come & go without giving prior notices to those in charge of business, set up accounts so you can

monitor your deposits by phone or net, employees will slack off whether U are around or not, If you cant do this then

maybe U should go home with your business....but Y did U leave in the first place? good luck
