Don't forget, people with government connections can influence these dates, however I have none. I got in line like the rest, and today I got great news.

We filed I-129F in late october and found out today, 16 May, it was approved, 195 days later for Romania. The processing center was California (your case will start with WAC). The center who handles your case is what influences the date the most. Check the processing times for that center and you can get an estimate on how long it takes. Right now the CA center says they are looking at packages submitted on 18 July, however they got to mine which was dated 2 Nov 12.

Hang in there, keep buying plane tickets and paying for phone calls. If you can, get the app Viber on both your smartphones and talk for free and before you know it you will be together.

I am not judging those that have gotten lucky and recieved thier NOA 2 within a reasonable time. I have waited over 8 moths no rfe . I have called the call center, my senators my lawyer the omsbudsman all tell me the same story that USCIS is working only on cases before 7/18. This makes me crazy they think we have no information. If only there was proof besides VJ time lines. ( no one believes this credible proof )

That is just a plain bullsh*t, first come first serve policy only applies in Mcdonalds and in any other fast food chains. content.gif

In the USA first come, first served doesn't always apply at fast food chains. I can't tell you the number of times I have been asked to pull up at the drive-thru window because they wanted to serve another customer while my order was being prepared.

Honestly Im just happy that they are pushing though more then 3 a week again. If your that unhappy call USCIS and complain tell them its not fair and show them the paper work. It is part of their job to pass first come first serve. Well show they you are not first.

Oh I don't think I still have to call CSC, I have been approved since MAy 9 devil.gif and I am very happy but not that happy for the others who are still waiting. You might feel glad for now because of January and February approvals and you just feel that yours might come very soon, but if not I'll check every post you make to see how frustrated and disappointed you are. devil.gifdevil.gifdevil.gifdevil.gifdevil.gif

Ya know... Im not that worried about it. I havent had issues being away from my fiance. We both know when the time comes it comes. If its sooner or later it doesnt matter. We expected up to a year so if we get it sooner ill be happy. If not I will take the time and money out to go see her and continue our journey. See the great thing is, even with her a half a world away we talk twice a day and make plans on our lives getting the house setup together.

Sure I have a want for her to be here with me but If i was that frusterated Id just move here. its easier and less complicated but we decided out lives in the future would be clearer skies then if we live in Thailand before we retire.

So anyhow track me on my posts. My love for my fiance is strong and when our time comes it will come. I will share my NOA2 with my close friends that I have met and probably forget you exist.

I remember feeling glad when I saw petitions getting approved that were near mine, we all get a little excited when we see approvals happening not too far from our own. Well we do if we realy want to be with the one we love. I remember feeling bad too when approvals came in for those that filed after me. We called congressmen, Senators, emailed USCIS and radio stations with the facts about the delays.

Eventualy I got my NOA2 after an April RFE. That does not mean I have forgotten anyone waiting or that I can not empathise with their situation but remember we all have different ways of handling stress and all have different levels of tolerance to stress. While some rant, some stay calm and wait. Whether your a ranter or a stay calm person, there is no oy to be founded in the misfortune of others.

remember we all have different ways of handling stress and all have different levels of tolerance to stress. While some rant, some stay calm and wait.

I have one positive thing to say about this excruciating wait (192 days and everyone around me already approved) ... it is showing me whole new layers of my fiance that I had previously only suspected, and I love him all the more for it.

While I am ranting and crying and sobbing and calling senators (no response from one and a complete brush-off from the other), checking USCIS every few hours and scheduling extra appointments with my therapist to deal with the stress ... my fiance is calm, soothing, strong, positive and absolutely the rock that he has always been for me, only more so than ever. heart.gif

I'll never say thank you to USCIS for the long wait, but it is a learning and growing experience and I guess I should be grateful for that.

I am still experiencing more stress than at almost any other time in my life, but I can certainly agree that there is no right or wrong way to deal with this waiting. Ranting here is, I hope, allowed because we really do need to blow off frustration, but calm waiting is to be admired as well, and there's room for both types here.

I know how you feel and what might others think of you because of what you have said but I think you are right, Some might don't understand what we ( July-October filers) are going through. Most of the last year's filers are still waiting for approval and it sucks knowing that they are processing January and February filers alreadyprotest6wz.gif I can't be hypocrite and say that living far away from my love one is not an issue for me,It will always be an issue if you really love someone and I can see that most of the members here have the same issue.

But realy, how we handle things is our own personal issue and nobody is right or wrong for having the feelings they have. The BIG issue here is how the service centres handle our petitions. A call for more transparency in their operations so we can understand better why some wait longer than others and why some seem to be approved very early in the process would be enough to satisfy many people.
