I am ready to file the AOS for my wife and stepson.

Can someone tell me what documents do I need to complete in order to file for both of them?

Also, do I need birth certificates translated into English?

Thanks.

Here is some good reading for you from the GUIDES:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k2-visa-adjustment-of-status-tips

And a great thread located at the top of AOS from family based visa forum:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/287035-calling-all-k-2-aosers-past-and-present/

That is what we used for my wife (K-1) and stepson (K-2) from China, with no problems.

Good luck.

Great Help!!!! Thank you. I am translating the birth certificates and then I will file. How long does it take for approval?

You are most welcome!

Good question. A quick review of threads in the AOS progress forum would likely reveal that approval dates are all over the board.... Everything seems to be up in the air, thanks to the DACA-tsunami that has swamped USCIS since last August. EAD/AP approvals seem to be running 30-90 days, AOS....difficult to say....unsure.png

Good luck. good.gif
