Well,

It was a very NON productive day for VSC K1 filers today. We are now down to eight days left this month. Anyone want to wager if they get thru October 2012 by June 1st 2013? ranting33va.gif

People say "at least VSC is slow, but steady" Let me know when the "steady" part comes in...crying.gif I cannot wait for my meeting with my Congressman next week.

I know right :(

Csc is catching up? They are almost finished with 2012...Vsc cant even finish Oct...where is the outrage that Csc people had a few months ago?

Another thing which is really annoying me. All we saw at the start of the year was the outrage of CSC filers who were in the 7+ month range because of the slowdown at CSC. VSC is at a snail's pace and it just can't catch up, yet because CSC are doing January, we see no outrage, nothing. There aren't enough VSC filers who speak up. The gap is bigger than it's ever been. Even when CSC stopped, VSC were only doing July/August, then onto September when it kicked back in. The gap has never been this large, not October - January. But no one cares. USCIS don't. "Anonymous" don't. We'll get nowhere. Not unless people start speaking up and contacting their officials about this massive gap in processing times and delays.

And I know - slow but steady. Don't make me laugh. Whether in or out of order, CSC petitions get reviewed a lot quicker than the oldest filer at VSC who's "at the front of the queue" anyway. That's like saying, well, if you've waited 10 months, at least it's slow and steady and done in an orderly fashion.

Exactly! VSC is 7-8 months...CSC 4 months...VSC is as slow as CSC was when they just about stopped and they all screamed about it...funny how we dont hear any outrage from them now...

They don't give a toss, nor about Tyler's data. They have their approvals, they have their data, so they don't give a toss. Even if VSC are waiting 8 months, even if the data was gathered breaching the usage laws of the website and a felony. Vermont filers don't speak up, and California don't care.

What p$$...s me off the most is it is very obvious that VSC has not put alot of people on the K1s...they are processing other types of files...like DACA...but can we honestly say that CSC is working on anything but K1s? Cmon...did you see how many they have churned out the past six weeks? All I ask for is a level playing field...FAIRNESS....

You're right in that it seems as though VSC filers aren't speaking up. You should not however, expect that the CSC filers that were so vocal on the forums to still be in outrage. CSC pushed for results, and received them. It would be nice to see VSC filers do the same. I-129F filers only make up 2-3% of all petitions at the service centers, and once someone is approved they no longer focus on the others waiting, so it is very difficult to make our voices heard. I have been in contact with my Congressman's representative weekly for the past 3 months. Although my case has received approval from CSC, and I have not mentioned it on any forum, I am constantly reminding her of the difficulties others are facing from both service centers and the need to have the overall system changed to something more transparent, more efficient, and more balanced. I hope that others that were in contact with their representatives are doing the same.

For what it's worth, I understand your frustration.

Thank you for your comments...I am going to speak to my congressman soon and will continue trying to do something even after my approval... Its sad to see so many vocal CSC people disappear and not care now that they "got theirs"....guess it shows the true character of some....

That is a really unfair comment about people who waited at CSC and made the effort to do something about it. Do you expect us to write your congressman or contact the ombudsman for you? Because I don't think anyone at VSC helped cause change at CSC. It took a lot of people doing a lot of work through data collection, writing letter and emails, and phone calls to get CSC back on track. Not sure if we really helped, but I believe we did. So, my point is, do something about your situation and inspire others to do the same. Use our experience at CSC to your advantage with seeing who to contact and how to write letters to your representatives.

NOA1 - 8/24/2012

NOA2 - 3/18/2013 Only took 207 days at CSC

This is unfortunately a sad comment but not surprising. You are saying in essence."us and them"...there is no just "us"...as US citizens attempting to bring our loved one here...if there is a problem with other programs like social security...lets make it a northern state problem vs southern right? Very sad.....I will speak about the total unfairness involving all centers when I meet next week...did you include VSC when speaking out a few months ago?

I just checked some case numbers via "my case status" and saw that today many DACA's and I765 forms were transferred to other offices for further processing. This could be great for K1 filers!!
