Hi

I am us citizen. I want to bring my parents on green card. I have two questions.

I have different surname on my passport for my parents (say sheth).

My parents have different surname (lastname) on their passport. (say tripathi)

Both surname are same. My father has made affidavit when i came here.

Now my question are

1. When i apply for my new us passport which surname i should mentioned in my ds-11 application for my mother and father's lastname column? ( I have Sheth surname for my parent in my passport)

2. When i apply for I-130 for my parents application - what surname should i mentioned in their lastname ? ( they have lastname in their passport as Tripathi)

Please reply asap.
