Stay tuned, They might be calling you soon. My friends who just got their approval, had an update date on CEAC and with in a few days they got a call from the embassy :) So hopefully it will be the same for you. (unless you inquired about it thru congressman then that could be the reason for the update).

Keep us updated if you get any phone calls :)

Hello, we have crossed 4 months now AP. Anita and Tamer just got there visa approved after 5 months 4 days. I call DOS and email every single day without fail.

We have had 2 updates this month, on the 12th and on the 30th of Sept. DOS said the last notes in the case were on the 26th of Sept.

The updates clearly have no rhyme or reason to them since we had 6 updates in August and still no visa. I hope inshallah this is over soon.

they aren't waiting anything from us....i just don't understand why all of us have to remain held up in our lives while they decide if they will let us be together, its cruel.

on another note I have sent several emails to OIG regarding the system and clear lack of care from the embassy in Cairo, even i sent an email asking them about the weather and i got a reply that the case was in ap, i sent it to OIG about a month ago, so i know they are now aware as they told me is was passed on to the DOCA....inshallah together we can make Cairo see that we love our husbands(or wives) and will just let us be together finally.....inshallah!
