Keep your heads up - VSC and CSC are always playing games. One month VSC is way ahead, the next month CSC is ahead. it's truly enough to make you nuts!

Yup! You never know when they will speed up or even slow down! Put praying to get mines next month!!

I've noticed the really unpredictable nature of CSC lately, as well. It's kind of got me stressed because I have no idea when to expect approval at this point, which makes it much harder to deal with things at home that I'll need to prior.

Wondering if it depends on who has ended up with your case. Maybe some are going through their case piles faster, or looking for the less complicated ones first (smaller packages vs larger ones with a ton of evidence) in order to get rid of some of the backlog. Of course, it's only speculation. I can't really imagine why else you're seeing such a varied response...

Its so hard when they are random like that... we got our NOA1 on January 18th, but no NOA2 yet... while people who got their NOA1 in January 30th already got theirs approvals... I'm happy for them.. but its just so hard not knowing when you will get it..

specially when you think of those who applied last year and didnt get it yet...

Gotta trust God has a right time and a reason for everything.. even when you really miss your loved one!

Its really depressing looking at the list but we truly cant do anything about it. and dont forget there is much more filers who are not on vj, so there might be much more approvvals a day!

Whats the percentage of petitions on VJ considering the actual number of petitions at CSC or VSC? Like 10%?

I feel like I see this convo every year. Truth is, one catches up and the other falls behind and they are always switching between the two.

Some couples may go through faster for numerous reasons. Basically people who work in the offices get a caseload. Well, maybe one person's caseload has easier situations, no RFEs etc etc and has started on the applicants from January. But then the person right next to them has had to deal with special cases, RFEs, etc and it pushes them back and they're stll on November/December.

That's the simplest way I can explain it without getting technical.

I know it's hard. But it'll all be worth it when the process is done. And it'll all just be a memory that you'll look back on and think, "That situation made us stronger."

;)

"Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal. My strength lies solely in my tenacity. " ~ Louis Pasteur.

I think this is really true y'know, and you're one of the lucky ones if your in CSC while its ahead, and unlucky if your in VSC, and visa versa, who knows what is going to happen though
