So if someone chooses to do something else, not these activities, then they'd fall 'out' of the profile that'd get them shot in the first place, yes?

Actions n choices have consequences, always.

Profiling can only help.

IIRC, though - you've made some pretty strong posts about folk who GOT profiled, and got shot. In each case, the person that got shot 'fit a profile' but for the most part, the one MAKING the profile got it wrong.

So that's two sets o people, two humans, each time, that sufferred because of profiling. The dead fella, and then the idiot doing the profiling.

Okay, let's play: So you're suggesting that wearing a hoodie is a choice that can get you killed? Funny, they don't have that waring on the label. Oh that's right, it only applies to blacks and latinos, since anyone else wearing a hoodie is ok.

TSA uses profiling, as does FBI, CIA, most police groups

and all federal cops across the world.

I'm for profiling for the cops, but when a civilian does it and does it wrongly, that's the rub, right ?

No, because look at the link I posted above. The cops are doing the killing as well. It's about time we start judging folks for their actions, not the color of their skin.
