what should i address in the letter about my ex

Im including a letter and proof of validity of my first marriage when I petition for my 2nd husband.....my ex met another woman and filed divorce from me. Should I mention infidelity in the letter or just say the marriage didn't work? I don't plan on giving details or any emotional speeches. just a matter of fact manner. but I don't know if that is the right thing to mention

Why do you need to write this letter? Long as you have divorce decree that should do it. Unless there is some short time just say when you separated or divorce and be done with it.

Its been 3 years between. and ive been given the advice from a couple of lawyers that it would be a good idea to send evidence on first marriage too because of the short span of time.

Was the other woman from his country ? If yes, then it gives the appearance that you were used for immigration benefits and perhaps they feel you may be vulnerable to be used again. Considering your past posts on describing everything I would say write a short letter in a matter of fact manner that you had a good previous marriage that was real but after a time didn't work out. I would be hesitant to go overboard with details. Then go into your current relationship in the letter, describing reasons why you feel you and your current man are a much better match and why you feel you had enough time to heal and were ready to move on.

What "evidence" did the attorneys advice to include ?
Do not overcompensate because they will think you are trying too hard to hide something. Keep it simple but be prepared.
They will likely ask your current beneficiary for details during his interview, so he needs to be able to answer the questions of exactly what happened.

Some of the non sense we encountered with out CO were :
I was asked what made me collect all the communication data that I (petitioner) gave the CO in person (after the interview, during AP) and did I just wake up
one morning collecting all the communication or what....my response was that my attorney adviced me to do so. To that she just said Oh, ok.

That was a clear "overcompensating" speculation/assumption.

She had asked my fiance to "convince" her. She said her "gut feeling" led her to believe our marriage "would not be a lasting one." Her words !
No factual evidence, just assumptions on her part. We brought in everything but the kitchen sink and she said she doesn't have time to read "all of that." (Continuing
phone logs, emails, skype logs, our rings engraved with each other's names and receits, we went together in person and brought it all for her to see.)
So on one hand she said "convince me" and when we tried to she said "not reading all of that."

Case was 16 months in AP, returned to USCIS and CSC let it sit in storage and expire.

Saying all of that to make a point that sometimes nothing they say or do makes any sense.

yes she was but he didn't stay with her. he got some other woman pregnant and abandoned her too. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to draw attention to something that may not be a problem but I also want for this to go as smoothly as possible. ugh. I feel punished for actually falling in love. lol

I probably wouldn't include the ex 'evidence' except for the letter. If the CO later asks questions you can bring it to the interview if you plan to be there, hope you will, USCIS doesn't care about it so CO can see it if they have an issue with it. That blows the front loading but ....I wouldn't. Do what you feel is right, ask Marc if he will take a small affordable amount for a simple 10 min phone consult. In the end you have to feel comfortable with the decision. Two attorneys adviced you to include it and I am not an attorney.
I have had a ####### attorney who I fired and trust very few, they make mistakes too.
If Marc adviced me I would, but that's just my opinion, I know he knows his stuff in denied cases and am sure he has seen these situations many times before.
