Sponsorship: Does the embassy except Record of Account?

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has any information or experience with the embassy accepting a record of account along with an original tax transcript for verifying adjusted gross income? My potential sponsor filed their taxes but made an amendment and the tax transcript does not show the amended income, the IRS said that a Record of Account can be requested and that shows all amendments and adjustments, including the new/final adjusted gross income. I would like to know if anyone has had this issue before or knows if the embassy will accept a record of account for income verification.
