I got my approval in the mail yesterday. No status change on the web no emails or phone updates!! It was an awesome sight. Talked to fiancee in Jamaica, we are excited & anxious to get started on Step 2. All advice from my fellow yardies will be appreciated. Please send. Thank you.

Can he go pick up the packet #3 prior to receiving a case # from NVC? Or do I have to wait to receive a case #?

12-18-06 Embassy provides appt. date & time for Fiancee to pick up Packet 3. Rules have changed.

1-19-07 Embassy confirms interview appt. date & time via phone.
1-26-07 Fiancee receives Interview Letter (Packet #4) in the mail. Still no Packet #3
2-20-07 Medical @ Andrews completed
2-15-07 Received Packet #3 in mail

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

You have to wait until Kingston recv the file from NVC w/the case #. Even then it might be tricky. I know in the past ppl have been turning in their DS-230 Part I form the same time they picked up packet #3 but lately the Embassy has been refusing them and having the packet sent out in the mail. Try posting this in the Yardie's thread and someone who been thru it recently should be able to assist you better.

congratulations! i am thinking it's some sort of a trend b/c someone on the k3 forum had the same thing happen to them... online indicated some touch but no approval but they got the approval in the mail instead! i hope i'm next heheheh
