You can come up with examples for anything. A good cause does not mean it has a good spokesperson. Of course there are people who are genuinely doing good, but there are also people and organizations who are drawing away from their original purpose with their sensationalism.

PETA is another example.

Good causes to support, but the loudest mouths are often the most obnoxious.

And before you try to throw more examples at me, I said often. Not always.

Back to less off the topic discussion, the Dooley vs the Zimmerman cases.

Dooley has been convicted but is out pending appeal seems to me to indicate that while Dooley was unsuccessful in his claim to self defense, his incident was much more clouded. I agree he deserves to be in jail but the system is playing itself out and there are some stark contrasts in that case.

Dooley made more than a few bad decisions. I believe that he should be held accountable and that he will be. But he was found guilty of the appropriate crime. I don't think that the altercation was entirely his fault but the lions share was.

Zimmerman on the other hand, stalked and approached Martin at night, in my view fully believing that he was going to personally bag himself a perp and be a hero. At every point Zimmerman pushed the situation to a tragic end. I see no self defense no matter who threw the first punch. The entire incident is on Zimmerman.

I think Zimmerman initially saw Trayvon at some type of community center. He was standing there looking in the windows and that building had been broken into before. But, it's also very possible that Trayvon was standing there just to get out of the rain and he's just looking around like any normal person might do. It's totally innocent but I can see how Z could misjudge it.

But I think you also violated the TOS for P&R. You are supposed to stick with your initial position no matter what. Never change your mind.

If I'm wrong I'll admit it. It's the only way I can argue effectively.
