Zimmerman isn't exactly a truthful guy either, is he? He and his wife lied to the judge in regards to their ability to post bond. They were sitting on a couple hundred thousand of dollars and falsely told the court that they were broke. Z's wife was actually arrested on perjury charges for that. Funny you never mention that.

I have no idea if that can, or will, come up in the trial; but to me, that really hurts GZ. It makes it more difficult to believe the other things he has said. Since he seems to be the only witness; it doesn't help for him to make himself look dishonest. Stupid move on his part.

Zimmerman doesn't have a great past in regards to the law, but people who support him would rather not talk about that. TM's past is much more relevant, obviously.

Not only that, some of the things he stated to the police don't add up, like his claim that he shot TM when TM tried to reach for GZ's gun. According to GZ, this happened while TM was on top of him, pummeling his face with his fists. When the investigator asked GZ to demonstrate, he couldn't because the scenario made it logistically implausible. How could GZ over power TM, and successfully fire the gun if TM had his arms pinned? GZ carried the gun on his right hip - how then could TM see the weapon, let alone reach for it if he was on top of GZ? This is why the investigator wanted to arrest GZ, because his explanation of how and why he shot TM isn't plausible. What's more plausible is that GZ fudged the facts in his favor to convince the police that he was the victim.

there's nothing remarkable about the gz's team attempting to discredit tm's girlfriend. they need to keep focus on gz's rendition of events. and she has not been charged with anything.

TM isn't on trial. His past so far includes, what? Some pot and a suspension from school or two? Sounds like an average teenager to me. But to some, that makes him a thug with a possibility of a life of crime.

GZ has a record. TM doesn't.
