I have received the NOA2 so now I have to get some other documents, like Birth Certificate and other police reports. My questions is: All this documentation is for the interview day ?, do I have to send them before ?, where ?

All the documentation will be for the interview day.

Nothing needs to be returned before the interview.

Thank you Madu .. now ... additional question. That documentation (Birth certificate, Police reports ...) needs to be translated to english ?

there is one document in the packet you are supposed to send in when you recieve your packet. It is noted in the documentation (forget the number right now). Send that one in IMMEDIATELY. It is a simple document that you fill in about you.

Everything else you put together and take with you to the interview.

You don't need to have your birth certificate translated into english. You do have to go thru the entire RENIAC process however. Police reports do not have to be translated. They are just looking for the big NO on them anyway.

When you go to get your birth certificate, get the version "para uso en el exterior" (yes, it costs more and you will have to pay that day and return another day to pick it up....they charge you more for adding one stamp and a watermark (sello de agua) to the document.

You will need your certified birth certificate when you are in the US, too, so get a couple more copies to bring with you while you are there For AOS later on, you'll include with your application the translation of your birth certificate and certify that it is an exact translation (no "traductores oficiales" exist in the U.S. so you can do it yourself).

For people born in "Lima, Lima", the Registro Civil for Lima is now located actually in Jesus Maria, not too far away from the RENIEC of Jesus Maria, near the Ministerio de Trabajo. It used to be in downtown Lima near the Plaza de San Martin.
