As you can tell by the title of this - we are now officially scheduled for a December 18th interview in Mumbai! :dance::dance::dance: I was so depressed when the schedule came out and we were not listed. Sunday evening I sent an e-mail to the consulate explaining my concerns and how we thought we should be scheduled. This morning I received this reply:

Dear Mr. XXX and Ms. XXX,

We are writing to let you know that Mr. XXX's visa interview at our office has been scheduled on Dec. 18, 2006. The appointment package will be mailed to Mr. XXX shortly.

Attached is an e-mail version of the appointment letter for your use. You may use the “appointment package for K1 and K2 visa applicants” from our website at http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivforms.html.

Thanks for everyone's support during this time. :thumbs: VJ has been absolutely wonderful!! Now it is time to do more research on people who have gone through the Mumbai consulate (which I have done in the past, but now in more detail). I am sure as the time approaches I will have more questions.

07/13/2007 - E-mail stating EAD is in production

07/26/2007 - EAD card received in the mail!!

08/29/2007 - E-mail stating Permanent Resident Card production ordered!

05/22/2009 - Sent I-751 to California!

05/29/2009 - Check Cashed at Bank!

06/02/2009 - NOA Received in Snail Mail!

06/22/2009 - Received Biometrics Notification

07/09/2009 - Biometrics Appointment

08/14/2009 - E-Mail Notification of Approval - got the e-mail and letter the same day!

08/11/2009 - LETTER OF APPROVAL!!! 10 YEAR GREEN CARD!!!

08/21/2009 - RECEIVED 10 YEAR GREEN CARD!!!!! YEAH!!!
