I'm freaking out! My hubby sent the I-130 package to the Chicago Lockbox on April 29, 2013. We haven't gotten any news from USCIS, it's been two weeks since we sent the package and still nothing. I don't know what's going on. My hubby went to check to the postal office last week and they said USCIS got the package on May 2. Most people get NOA1 two days after USCIS got their packages. I'm so worried, I don't think this is normal. Has this happened to anyone else or is this happening just to me?

Before I received any kind of notice from USCIS (in the mail/through email), I noticed that they cashed our check. So, as a first step, you might be able to find out your case was received that way.

I have some good news! We just got the NOA1! It was issued on May 6th and my hubby just got the copy on the mail. Thank God! I thought we would have to send the package again. Thank you all for the advice!
