RFE Response

Hello to my brothers in the forum,please help me.I received my RFE today 13/5/2013 but something is not really clear to me,please read below,

"The Joint sponsor on form I-864,Affidavit of support,must be a United States citizen,United States National,or Lawful Permanent resident of the United States.Such evidence may include: a birth certificate issue by a civil authority showing birth in the United States.a puerto rico Birth certificate(must have been issued on or after July 1,2010),a copy of the biographical page of the petitioner's unexpired passport,a copy of the petitioner's certificate of Naturalization or Certificate of citizenship,or a copy of the petitioner's Department of state Form FS-240(Report of Birth Abroad of a United States citizen).

Now,i know they want a copy of my joint sponsor's status......but why are they mentioning petitioner's unexpired passport again?,my wife is the petitioner and she doesn't have passport,she only has SSN card,state ID,Driver's license and Birth certificate which i already sent with my application(AOS) from B1.

So should i send the evidence of my joint sponsor's status and include my wife's (SSN card,ID,Driver's licence and Birth certificate) AGAIN??????????.
I have my biometric app on 17th,4 days from now.thanks.

They are asking only for evidence that the joint sponsor is an LPR or US citizen, and giving you examples of what that proof could entail.

Thanks Hypnos,and again,we did not include any proof of bonafide marriage with the I130 when we submit it,I mean like joint bank account,and photos,and she's now 6 months pregnant,can i add those proof with the RFE?,I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but we don't want to get another RFE,that's why I'm asking,thanks.

You can submit additional evidence at this time, just make sure that your response to their RFE is at the top, with other supporting information underneath (to make sure they realise that you have responded to the RFE with what they needed, plus other things).

Now I have a problem regarding my joint sponsor's status evidence,he has traveled out of states and I couldn't get hold of him,can I change my joint sponsor now and include new i864 and other supporting documents??

hello everyone i file i 485in feb but i dont get any work permit i got a rfe in may i they got my reply 9 not sure what is going on
