Wow....after 8 months at VSC!!!! i have received NOA2!!

Just giving some extra info here...

Im here at work, (its been a VERY slow monday!!) my coworker is on my iphone playing a game!! all of a sudden she's like u just got a text, do u need to get it?! im like lemme see, and its from a weird #. ALL i see the preview of the text that says "YOUR CASE EAC.."

so i freeze!!! i play it cool and im like yes, i need to get THIS!!! lmao

i received about THREE of those texts so im like ok, something is going on. im TOO CHICKEN to check online so i text my friend godsgift225 from here and she checks it for me!!! keep in mind tears coming down my eyes UNCONTROLABLY!! when she gave me the good news!! then ofcourse i checked for myself and there it was!!!

Thank you VJ for all of the GREATGREAT GREAT information you guys have on here!!! i tell my fam and friends i feel like an immigration attorney because of all the info i have learned from READING READING AND READING these great forums!!!!

and ofcourse i love because of the great opportunity i have to get to know AMAZING people on here!!!

im keeping in mind, i may have won the battle but not the war because there is plenty, plenty more to do in this journey!

haha omg I would of done the same I think. I messed up though and didn't send that form to have my status text to me. So like the Flinstones I have to wait for my mail everyday! LMAO. I am so happy for you though because like me I know we have disected this process in and out. Congrats! Tu tiene k estar en una nube!!!!

[June 25th 2012] Met in Person in London!
[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
