DCF/I 130 in Delhi. No acknowledgement?

Hello VJers,

Hope everyone out there has a story and an experience to share, like us.

My USC wife finished her college education in India in 2012 and later on started working here. She has been in India for last 5 years and she also has a permanent job so we were quite in sync with the I 130 requirement of USC being a 'resident' of India.

We got married in Feb 2013 and filed the I 130 petition in Delhi on 29th of April. It has been two weeks now and we haven't heard anything regarding our petition or any sort of acknowledgement.

The embassy website says (in the FAQs) that it usually takes them one week to decide on the petition.

Can someone throw some light here? When can I expect packet 3?

M

I have everything ready from PCC to I 864, I just hope that they act at a proper pace.

Thanks 'that man', i have ready your story before we applied and it was helpful ;)

But I was sad that it took 4 months to fix the interview in your case.
