we had a chick at my old job who did sleep under her desk. when she was caught - she just went to the bathroom to sleep.

hello everyone!

I'm just guzzling coffee and turned up the radio. At my previous job, our warehouse manager would come into the office and crawl under desks at random to catch a nap. One afternoon one of the girls SHRIEKED and scared us all half to death because she didn't realize he was asleep under her desk until he started to crawl out. The man was strange... (and I so do not miss that job.)

ive read all that. ive lived all that. he was shot dead 10mins from my home, a road we travel daily. we were stuck out in traffic since 330pm our time.......we finally made it home after going thru crowds of angry people burning tires and shouting in the streets

on a side not other then me being upset today................

we booked my ticket. i will be in toronto canada Dec 5th at 135pm and then i gotta get a way to buffalo to meet my family

Ok so I looked like I was writing for a very looooong time, but in all actuality I started to write then I got stuck doing a new project at work. now I have to balance my drawer, and finish my project. Then I get to leave and go to my second job. yay...

The heater just kicked in here today for the first time this year, and boy does it stink! I had to look under my desk to make sure my space heater wasn't on fire.

The girls in the area behind me have been singing along with the radio for 2 days now and it's getting hard to want to actually work. Only a few of us are here, and anywhere I go I catch people trying to pretend to work. Really, they should just give us the whole week off because it isn't like anybody is doing much anyway.

I like cowl neck sweaters, but the turtlenecks make me feel strangled too. It sounds like this is a common problem.

Jess. good to hear you're ok. They've been talking about what's going on over there on NPR today.

I guess I should actually try to do some more work in the 37 minutes I have left before I leave.

OMG! One of my coworkers just came in and checked the thermostat in my office and told me it was 78 in here. I told her that was funny because since I turned off my heater it was cold under my desk. She said "I can't help what your p*ssy is doing!" This is a rather formal office (except for the girls that sing to the radio) so I was more than a little shocked. She is usually one of the very proper ones. I guess boredom makes people get a little crazy.

Oh, goodness, Liz!! Well, you noticed I am a bit bored . . . work is boring when you are waiting on things to run and people to respond to results.

I can't download anything at work. So many sites I want to visit are blocked. I actually can't believe this one isn't to be honest. I can't even play my games on Neopets here because they use flash player and that is blocked for games.

Catherine, you are so lucky to be working from home! I'd be in my fuzzy slipper socks, my son's old hoodie that says "System of a Down" on the front and has "Toxicity" across the back in glow in the dark letters, and a pair of sweat pants. I think I'd be a lot more productive if I could have bread baking in the oven, the steroe blasting, laundry going, and not constantly sliding down in this not so comfortable office chair. When I work from home over the Christmas holidays I don't even look at the clock. I think I could do 90% of my work from home, but I doubt they'd ever approve it.

Honest to God, Walk like an Egyptian was my favorite song in elementary school. In junior high and high school, I always asked the DJ to play it, but they never seemed to have it with them. How they called themselves DJs without having A Different Light is beyond me

Headphones are where it's at. You can plug them into the speaker slot, and then you can listen without distrubing the person in the next cube over.

anyone know the procedure for my family to enter canada to come get me from the airport? my moms orig birth cert is oooooold and is now taped together with black tape.....she says its still readable....they dont have passports yet..................my step dad doesnt have a driver license but he does have a non driver photo id..............helpppp guys

Well the congressmans rep was off today and yesterday, so I have no word on any info from him.

I emailed Casa and NVC, again, today with a few questions about my husbands case.

I am planning on going to Morocco to see my husband in December, and not coming back till January. I hate aiplanes but I love my man and I miss him so much!

So we shall see. My sister in law works at a travel agency so she found a really cheap price for me, and we are gonna take it and run with it. Other than that I should have been gone, but go home to who and to what??

Good thing is I will be spending the new year with my husband, I cant wait to see him again! I'll post dates of travel when I have somethin more definite......
