Passports for I485 and I130

Hi everyone,

Quick question of filing for adjustment of status due to marriage.

I've been reading a couple forms and I'm concerned as I'm not sure what pages of my passport (USC) and my husband's passport I'm supposed to copy.

So far we copied the visa, I-94, biographical information page with our picture and any pages that had a stamp... is that okay??

I am a US Citizen but my husband entered on a touristic visa.

We copied only pages that the checklist suggested. . We copied entire passport for i129

For the K-1 visa holder, you only need a copy of the biographical page, the visa, the I-94 (front and back) and page with the stamp that was received upon entering with the K-1.

You don't need every page, and you don't need every stamp.

Make sure you included multiple copies of each if you are submitting I-131 and I-765 in addition to I-485. Each form has its own requirements. Treat the forms separately by including copies the necessary documents for each.

Me? I just did relevant pages for my husband's passport: the bio, visa, and I-94. I sent a copy of my own birth certificate so I didn't copy any passport pages for me.

My husband entered on a touristic visa... does this make any difference in passport pages to copy? I wouldnt think so..?

I would copy the bio page, and the pages with visas or entry/exit stamps.

For the USC if you aren't submitting a birth certificate, then copy every page.

We copied the biographic page (where date of birth, full name, expiration date etc. found on) and for the foreign passport same page, as well as a copy of the visa, and a copy of I-94 front and back. That's all we did. They did not miss anything else, never got RFE and got approved on the spot. Good luck!
