Hi to all,

I am waiting the entire package of I-129F and evidence of support from my fiance, He receives the original NOA2 last April 8, 2013.

At the moment I am so nervous for upcoming interview.

I am expecting the package on Wednesday or Thursday.

Before Medical do I need to pay visa at BPI first? I have a lot of question in my mind. Is there anyone can give me organize schedule base on your experience.

Another thing, I did not comply Police clearance since I never go to other Country.

I got NBI but only copy?or Can I photocopy of it?

Thank you so much to share with me your experience on doing k1 visa.

Did your fiance receive the MNL# from NVC? You will need it to schedule the interview.

Here is my experience timeline:

Dec 13, 2012 - I-129F Approved

Dec 27 - Got the MNL# by calling NVC. Fiance received the NVC letter few days after.

Dec 28 - Paid $240 at BPI, after 4 hours scheduled interview online

Jan 10-11, 2013 - Medical exam

Jan 24 - Interview

Jan 30 - Received the visa packet

Jan 31 - Returned to CFO to get sticker (I went to CFO Dec 18 for the seminar and certificate)

Feb 11 - Off to USA!

NBI clearance is good. Make sure it is recent. You can photocopy it but you give the original at the interview. You will get the personal copy back. They will keep the other half.

Good luck! :)

Hi Redvelvet

Thank you so much.

Yes I got my Manila case # thru email from my fiance.

Now I have to call Manila to schedule my interview.

Since I am now at Iloilo I can pay at any BPI then travel to Manila for medical at St. Luke.

Thanks so much.

God bless you on your medical and interview, sis. I too, is waiting for my fiance's package and our MNL case number. We were approved last April 22.

Yes, you need to pay your visa first at the nearest BPI branch in your city, don't forget to bring the MRV slip with you when paying.

You don't need police clearance since you've never been in another country for more than 6 months, right? Only a recent original NBI clearance.

All the best! :)

You do not need the I-129F package, the embassy has the original petition from USCIS.

There is a link in my signature below for the K-1 visa process. Read it as it has the answers you are seeking.

It's a good idea for you to have a complete copy of your fiancé's I-129F packet (including original receipts). You may need it during your visa journey, and it's better to be safe than sorry. That's why the VJ Guides recommend it.

I've seen USEM consular officers ask for original receipts for things like remittances and hotels.

The packet also may come in handy at the CFO seminar. For example, you may be asked for the maiden name of your fiancé's mother (which you'll find on the G-325A).

Good luck!!!
