Well that is one piece of good evidence. Do you have two years worth of statements for the account showing it has been used? Joint credit cards? Life insurance policies with each other as beneficiaries? Wills? Joint taxes?

England.gif England!

And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times

It's you, it's you, You make me sing.

You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.

You can do that, as well as strart another one, add her as a benificiary on everything else. As Anykathleen said, what about everything else.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Please can someone here give me a clarification. I added my spouse as an authorised signer on my checking acount . I would like to know if it is a good evidence of relationship

It is pretty useless evidence if you just did it for the 751 application. I imagine the officer being very suspicious if you only have statements for one month. They want evidence over the whole period of your marriage, not last minute fixes.

It can be if you can show a couple years of bank statements that span the time of your marriage. What else do you have for evidence?

Amykathleen2005, Bigdog and Bewildering. Thank you so much for your clarification.

Yes I have more than 2 years of Bank statement showing my spouse as the authorised signer of my checking account from 2010 till date. We filed joint tax together -2010, 2011 and 2012 . we have joint lease together showing all the addresses we have lived together and all the bills, including Entergy, comcast and water bills( some of the bills are in my name and some on her name but showing all the addresses we have lived from 2010 till date. We do have Joint insurance Identification card and joint Auto insurance together. She is also the initial beneficiary of my life insurance and retirement plan from my Job. We also do have our State ID/ driving licence showing our old address before we move, we could not change it to our new address becuase it has not yet expired.

I also included her in my dental and vision insurance plan from 2010 till date which she has been using till date. she also added my name to her bank checking account, but mostly pay all the bills and rent with the check where i made her the authorised signer when she added her own to complete the bills and the rent. We also do have personal loan people have given us but we repaid the loan using our joint checks, i do not know if it is necessary to include the loan repayment in the package since it is personal loan we paid the people. Joint Sam's club together, Joint purchase computer and various joint checks to show activities from 2010 till date with few other financial documents arising from our checking accont and various joint notice of statements from our Bank

We dont have a joint credit card for a reason and we have not been blessed with any kid. Please advise me if there is anything i have not added in the package. Your help will be highly appreciated

Wills, Power of Attorney, Health Care Power of Attorney. Anything that most normal people do to combine their lives. Vacations together, money sent back to the imigrants family for birthdays or anniversaries or in general. Taxes and joint accounts are good evidence. Utility bills, photos, cards and things lie that are no as useful.

Good luck,

Dave

Dave. Thanks for the information but i need further clarification. I think the healthecare power of attorney varies from state to state and it can only be valid when the person could not make decision for his or her healthcare. Again i think Bills cannot be faked when you have evidence of payments showing that it was paid from your joint checking account or checks written to prove that such transctions were made. I think any Bills submitted should be accompanied with a supporting documents of payments to be valid. I feel you cannot just submit bills without any supporting evidence to show that really such bills were paid. Other evidences are good as you mentioned Joint taxes, joint accounts and vacation together. Money sent back to immigrant family can only be valid or accepted when other evidences of good faith marriage are present, then it is likely to be true when the Immigration officer will be reviewing your file. I feel any evidence submitted will be critically examine before a decision will be made.

Thank you Jesus . My I-751 petition has been approved without Request for evidence and no interview. For most of you going through this process, I pray that God will see you all throughout the entire process.. The key point in approving removal of condition is cohabitation, finances and conduct of the party before and after the marriage is relevant. As long as your marriage is real and both of you love each other. The reviewing officer would like to see an evidence covering all the entire 2 years period of your marriage starting from joint lease/Mortgage and addresses you have lived and currently living till date. Please I advise you to support your joint lease/Mortgage documents with Bills and evidence of each months payments from your joint Bank account showing that both of you are helping each other in marital responsibilities. If you don't have such evidence, provide an explanation why it is not available. If it is only in one name, also give an explanation and do not hide anything. For those who have joint account. I recommend that you send the entire statement covering the entire 2 years starting from the time it was opened till the time of filing to avoid request for additional information. Send statements of each month. Do not leave any month of your joint bank statement behind. Submit every thing by clear and convincing evidence with a cover letter explaining each documentation for good measures. If you don't have lease or mortgage, ask your Landlord to write an Affidavit covering the time you have lived there with a supporting evidence of rent payment from your Joint Bank statement showing the months paid and time you have lived there. Every Affidavit written must be supported with additional information for probable cause. Submit everything that you have together as real bonafide married couple - ie Joint taxes throughout the entire period till date, Insurance card, Life insurance policy made for each other, Retirements plans you have made to your spouse, envelopes of letters address to you and your spouse from friends at the address you are living. Car titles showing both of your names. Please I will advise you to submit your joint health insurance with additional information showing that your spouse has benefited from it for example. The officer would like to see your paystubs of each months showing that such funds were taken by the insurance from your paystubs. Provide as many documents as you can to prove your marriage is real and valid. Do not leave any information you have together behind. The more documents you provide, the easy it will make the adjudicating officer to make determination on your case without delay. Please most importantly, review every evidence you have submitted to make sure that it covers the entire periods of 2 years and both of you are actively involve in your life or if additional information is necessary to apply in other evidences provided. Critically examined all your evidences to know if other additional information is likely to be provided in support of your evidences. Although you are required to show your marriage is valid by preponderance of evidence standard, but it is good to go beyond that in adding other information by clear and convincing evidence. I wish everyone going through this process Good luck and I pray that your case will receive favorable decision without delay in Jesus Name Amen
