I miss Whitby fish and chips...

From the little green and white tiled fish shop... :crying: who never laughed when the american pushed her fish aside to smother tons o' ketchup on her chips :D

Sigh...we were only an hour away. We gave Whitby lucky ducks as our wedding favors. People loved them. They were even our cake topper, a black and clear one, but they went missing - probably accidentially thrown away when they boxed up the left over cake :crying:

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!

Whitby was GREAT! The sunset was absolutely gorgeous...

I miss the UK, and I miss my fiance.

Here's a clue to the 3rd place. The place in the bottom pic is much closer in distance to the 3rd pic than York.

Whitby is the first place Chris and I took a trip together. Very special for us as well. Actually wearing my Whitby jet necklace right now.

The Dolphin fish and chips is our favorite.

Magpie was a great place for dinner, had some really good halibut there...

Awww I miss Whitby now. I get to visit for a friends birthday in Jan so not much longer!

Those are beautiful pictures Mawa -- did you take them?

They were taken either by me or my fiance, Haseen.

He's got the photographic eye and bought me a Sony DSC-T9.

Glad you like the pics (there are more if you visit the link at the bottom of my signature ;) )
