well, at least the csr stated it was not approved yet - so that (even as negative) is OK.

You can look at stuff online? https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

ok la - last thing, do tomorrow.

call back , get a csr, ask for the EMAIL address to contact an ISO. I had something, but was told last month it doesn't work anymore. I'm outta USCIS now, so I don't know what the new one is.

They have no more that option, still can't get in touch with an immigration officer because the waiting time on the phone. I will continue trying and see if I have any luck.

If you're currently outside the US you can try contacting your USCIS office with your local US Embassy. This usually works faster. For Europe you can contact them here USCIS.Frankfurt@uscis.dhs.gov

If you are not in Europe, you can still email them and they will forward it to the correct office. I usually get an answer from them within 24 hours.

It's amazing how many questions can be resolved with a 2 minute Google search...

I got in touch with an immigration officer yesterday and they told me since I am outside US I just need to wait for a letter with a response.

Anyway I will try to contact to that email you gave it to me and see what they say.

Thank you for the tip.

This is the response from USCIS to my senator about my case.

USCIS officials write "Thank you for your inquiry on behalf of your constituent, Sandra Sainz, regarding her pending Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative. USCIS records show that Form I-130 was filed October 22, 2012 and it remains pending at this time. Due to lack of resources, the current processing time for I-130s is 6 to 12 months. We will notify the constituent as soon as possible if any further information is needed, or when a decision has been made."

I can't be outside US anymore!!!!!!!

i would reply back, and inquire which office the I-130 is at.

Then if it is, indeed, a local office, have a relative show up there for an infopass appointment, and run through my series of questions for the local office visit.

Go back to the US. if someone can forward your mail, you can fly back for the Embassy interview.

Hey Mark - this makes absolutely no sense based on the OP's exact situation.
