I don't know if any of you remember but last year we had a big problem with bees but our landlady finally got someone to take care of it but ..

THE BEES ARE BACK!!!...

I have been sitting here wondering what that strange noise was and I go and look out the window and there is a whole swarm of bees :o .. The neighbors have this bush thing that has bright flowers on it.. I think that is what attracts the bees ... the bush is soo overgrown and is hanging over the fence..

The noise is really freaky...:(

Hope they go somewhere else and you do not have all the headaches again this year. Could someone not trim or have the neighbor remove the branches that are hanging over the fence? Just a thought. Good luck.

I just went and looked outside from a safe distance of course and it looks like they are building a hive... there is a whole clump of bees on the side of the house....

the real problem with the bees is that they are right along our walkway.. our entrance is around back of the house so you have to walk through them to get to the driveway....

they hedges get trimmed once in awhle but I think the bush should just get taken out all together...

the neighbors are kind of iffy around here

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Ooh sry your having a problem with bees. They should've been taken care of at the dormant stage. I'm deathly allergic to bees. We had a nest in the garden shed beside our house but hubby got rid of it this winter.

mmm, maybe they were just dormant..... when the bees were gone before I just figured the landlady had taken care of it

A nice bright fire close to their hive at night should work. The light attracts them.

what do you do once the fire attracts them or do they burn up?? kind of hard to make a fire close to the hive as the hive is on the side of the house with a cement walkway right beside it ...

I have stupid box elder bugs who LOVE my bright, shiny and warm garage door. I have to kill several a day who creep inside with me. They're harmless but since I hate bugs, they gross me out.

So I feel for ya!

You don't do anything. You just watch and listen. Yes, they'll burn. Our neighbor had bees (his hobby and good honey) and had to kill his stock once because of some disease that they had. That's how he did it. Broke his heart but it worked.
