But this morning, I tried to prove myself right that, what I see everything single day is the same, that they received my I-130...but then guess what, it changed this morning and that feeling is amazing to see something changed for once. My PD date is May 28. I am sure you should hear yours soon.

The last email appears to be generated when your case is either signed into the new facility, or assigned to an adjudicator. (Their lack of transparency makes it unclear which is the case.) Why we're getting 3 emails? Governmental inefficiency? Aliens? Magic? No one knows.

I was thinking of that one and wondered if 1st email "transferred to another office" is when it went from Overland Park to Lee Summit, since Overland is a ghost town? My NO1 was from Overland but transfer notice from Lee Summit.

2nd notice "transferred to local" could be them sending from Lee Summit to NSC, TSC, or CSC

3rd could be when the NSC, TSC, CSC centers receive the files?

Who knows lol...

These updates seem to be for USCIS internal purposes. For us what matters is the hard copy of transfer notice which states the service center where the application is received.

We just got approved!

Edit: We haven't even received the physical letter indicating which service center our application was transferred to. Nonetheless, we just received the email saying, "On December 17, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN." We're looking forward to receiving the physical NOA2 in the mail. We hope everyone will soon receive similar emails too!
