They are only over the phone assistance. Very useless when it comes to questions about a pending case. Trust what you see from people and hope for the best. These people over the phone get paid to deliver to you the worst case scenario.

right ..they just take salery to making pple hopless :(

Interview Date is november 18, 2014 :dancing: :goofy:

Called USCIS and talked to tier 2 they said they still in February ... they said would take 9-13 month total to process my I -130 I said nope you updated the system and it said 7.4 months!!!! she said they were backlogged and even so I am not outside of normal processing times have a good day and hung up. So they haven't done anything as of yest with my case even the birthday change I requested and they have until dec4th to change sad.png feeling little down hearted because what are we paying these people to do... except be rude?

I requested USCIS to check on my husbands middle name on May 12 and on Sep 18th, they send a letter saying that there was an update on the name.... I 130 sent on May 6th. NOA 1 received on May 8th.

Hello Everyone,

I have a feeling you will be approved very soon. I was approved in 10/1/13 through an expedite and I'm currently at the NVC stage. I wanted to share some of the problems or disconnect with the instructions for the affidavit forms and the instruction the NVC reviewers are giving. I had to re-do my form which will delay the process another 30 or so days and I don't want you guys to have to go through yet another delay. I would suggest doing two forms, one per the instructions and another with N/A as per everyone and the NVC folks and a letter explaining why you have two. I don't think two forms would be an issue but better safe than having to do it all over again. Below is what I have posted on the NVC-November thread, I hope this will help you avoid the delay. Good Luck to us all :-)

I just called NVC, regarding the checklist that everyone seem to be getting and was wondering if I should just make the correction and re-send mine again. I told her that I followed the instruction, #3 on How to Fill out Form I-864. I read this to her....#3 "Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is "none"leave the space blank". She apologized and said the direction giving to them and the instruction is not the same. According to her instruction, we have to put N/A. She suggested that I send an email to NVCInquiry@state.gov subject : PI Supervisor, and ask the same question in writing so that hopefully they can update/ correct the instruction giving to the reviewers at NVC. She was very nice and just as frustrated with this as we are, so lets all email the supervisor and help them to help us. Please ensure you follow the instruction in how to email NVC. Thanks
