All cases with a Filipino beneficiary have been transferred to another service center (probably CSC, TSC, or NSC). It seems that all such cases have been expedited, regardless of where the beneficiary resides.

Have other September filers already been transferred? I would venture a guess that those Oct. filers hadn't yet been put into long-term storage, so they retrieved their files with ease. Perhaps they already had a transfer in the works for recent filers anyway since they gave up on the NBC processing petitions.

Okay now it says "On November 25, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."

Does that mean it got transferred to a U.S. office 'cause WE ARE IN HONG KONG! And everything on my I-130 said that.

I dont see any sept filer being transferred yet, but there was one october filer who was transferred if im not mistaken. The thing is, husband called for an expedite request a week before this transfer thing for filipino beneficiaries started. Idk, maybe we'll just have to wait a lil bit longer.

As far as I know, no others have been transferred.

Gee, wouldn't it have been nice if they would have started the transfers a long time ago??? Makes no sense to me. But hey, there is no sense involved in any of this.

I guess so. Transferred as in the I-130 has been accepted and this is our NOA2 OR transferred so that they can finish the I-130? I am a bit confused. "Already"? It's been more than 6 months. Seems like forever. My wife is Filipino if that makes any difference. I heard a rumor of some automatic post-typhoon expediting of all Filipinos anywhere.

No. It has been shipped off to one of the service centers rather than a local office, regardless of domestic or expat filing.

Why is everyone thinking that acceptance requires a transfer? The transfer process is only because of the backlog. Cases may vary from one office or one building to another. There are thousands of cases that are processed and finished without a transfer and I believe that not all of them provide their stories online. I believe that what I am experiencing here, including my case status of a PD of May 14, is a sample of viewing some of thousands of cases. Which makes me think that the averages acceptance has a wide variety of changes. I personally know a friend's case from March 8th who got accepted in August 8th and never announced it publicly. A family member who filed in January got approved in June too.

When it comes to what I thing, I could be right or wrong at the same time. Never close to accurate.

All I wish for is a faster process to everyone to be able to have a decent life near their loved ones.

Cheers!!!

Hope everyone here is doing well, and getting the News they are expecting. I filed mine dating back May 29th. My PD date is May 29th. Any update for anyone who filed in MAY and their I-130 was sent to NBC in KANSAS. I'm a born citizen and serving my country in the military, and this process is driving me insane. I had called USIC two week ago, their response to me was they are looking at OCT 2012 paperwork. I called to expedite the process because I heard if you are in the armed service they will help you out. They will only expedite if I was beening deployed and have orders for deployment. What else can I do, while I'm waiting or what other forms should I start filling out once my I-130 is approve? Anything will help to ease my mind and also my wife as well.

Hi Daria81, I am a May 28th Filer and I am a citizen married to a Dominican man. We just recently celebrated our 2 years of marriage and we are 3 months away from celebrating our daughter 1st birthday. However, I learned that if I keep calling the USCIS, they are just going to give us BS responses reading right from the computer or the I don't know excuses. Or I can't give you any other responses. Which make it worst is that they keep saying it's processing, but truth be told, I am sure, they haven't touched our documents as well. All I can do is count the months, everything 3 months and fly to DR and spend time with my husband. We will not be spending Christmas together this year, but we will sure spend the New Years together.

It really is terrible to be apart from your spouses. But all I can live by is the word from what my mom tell me. Just close your eyes, and the time will fly. Look at your daughter and who would have thought she is almost 1 years old. Just stay postiive and strong. Our time and days will come soon.

I just came back to DR this SUNDAY. Kind of hard for me to be taking multiple trips to DR to visit my wife, while im serving in the military. Trying to progress in my military career, taking care of soldiers, training and stuff like that. It hurts me to hear my wife's voice, look at her and tell her I dont know when I'm able to come back and visit. I made a promise in March-April Time frame I'll be there. But Hoping it's to come back with her to the states. GOOD LUCK with your paperwork.
