Can you word this differently? Do you mean add six months to the 11 months posted? Or does it mean six months from NOA1 to NOA2? Or something else?

Thanks!

r060106 is correct, they meant six months from that particular notice so about six months from today. But who know what happens. Nothing is as certain as uncertainty when dealing with USCIS.

IR1 took 520 days....

you could call today and get that same answer,... and then call next month and get the same answer ... get the trend? its just another smoke screen to make you stop calling...

I called 3 months ago and got that same response, then the month after that.... same thing... they just reword it...

Frankly, i don't think the person answering the phone knows anything about what's going to happen to anyone's case. So i wouldn't take those '6 months from now' as accurate information. They're just covering their behinds giving a long enough estimate.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

I've given up on trying to figure things out. It's better to just wait and not stress about it. My wife and I's mindset is, "it'll happen eventually."

i agree with you, it will eventually happen, til then we have to try and live our lives outside of the USCIS bubble...

I wish it was that easy. After certain amount of time you just stop being optimistic like that.
