Hello Mrs. Parker!!

Did you receive any news regarding your expedite request? When did you submit it? On what grounds?

(I requested it as well, 40 days ago, and have not heard back from them...)

Keep us updated please!

RZ

I put my requesting Aug 16th due to a ventral hernia repair surgery I'm scheduled to have on November 1st. My husband and I have a small son ( 2yrs old in Nov) having the surgery will leave me unable to care for our son. That's why I did the expedite request. I received a letter on Aug 30th stating they received it and reviewing my file for expedite. I called Tuesday and they said it's in the queue for expedite. I'll keep you posted. Have you received any letters regarding your request? If not, I would call back if I were you. What was your grounds for expedite?

My hubby called USCIS today to check status (waiting time on the supervisor is 1.5 hour). But they will call you back on your # if you wish.

Anyway, our case has been looked at but not assigned to an officer, they do not expect an answer until the end of January or February to get assigned. Right now the process is taking up to 8 monthsClockWatch2.gif , she did not know what month is processed now and our case did not get moved to Kansas.

So i can forget about Christmas 2013 with my love. cray5ol.gif

Is it a wrong password/inactivity/locked out error. You can re-register with another email if that is the case.

If this is the site ( https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do) you do not need a password. I have read here of several people who had the same problem and later the case was approved...So lets hope the case is approved:-)

If there is another site we can check that requires a password, please let me know.

Thanks!

I am doing my best to resist the urge of strangling someone at the uscis office. I called to follow up on my expedite request I made august 14th and I was told that the expedite request was not filed correctly by the officer. This was after three other attempts to call, and all three phone operators told me they could not pull my case up because of an error in their system. I am seriously at a loss for words here. And you watch june k-1s get approved by the boatload and I seriously struggle to not scream at the top of my lungs at these people on the phone. My wife is in a damn warzone and I M told to be patient. I would love to ship a handful of these adjucators to egypt and syria and tell them to wait 6 months before they are considered to come home.

I feel your pain my friend, you should get high priority. I will step aside and give you your turn because I can wait...waiting few more months for me isn't too much of a big deal compared to yours. I would advise go for an infopass and talk to these people face to face and ask them if they would like to visit Syria for a vacation and tell them that you would pay for everything including $5K for each.

Please make an appeal during infopass, I am very certain they will expedite your case.

Hello Mrs. Parker

I submitted my expedite request on July 30th, 2013.

NOA1 date is June 10th, 2013.

Reason I requested expedite is because my wife got her permanent resident visa after her interview at the US Embassy in Paris (July 25th, 2013). Therefore, my wife HAS TO ENTER the USA before January 24, 2014 or her visa will expire.

Our baby is only 3 months old and is being breastfead. We cannot leave her behind.

It's been over 40 days and I have heard nothing from them (MSC/NBC is where our file is at).

When I call USCIS, Tier 2 tells me that I should just wait. That they are (MSC/NBC) very late with their workload.

Have you had any news regarding your petition?

06/10/2013 NOA1 I-130 Priority date (NBC @ Overland Park, KS)
07/30/2013 Requested Expedite Procedure via USCIS Hotline
08/15/2013 Sent a letter to the NBC/MSC regarding Expedite

10/15/2013 Case approved, Notice mailed

10/21/2013 Case shipped to the DHS/NVC

11/xx/2013 Received NOA2 hardcopy

Hello Rudyzn and the rest of my May filer fam,

Well, it's been almost 1 month since i put in my request for expedite form. Still nothing. When I call they say I will hear something shortly. Shortly ended yesterday with my patience. I called my Congresswoman. She told me to fax everything to her office and I did that a few minutes ago. Crossing fingers. Have a little time before my surgery November 1st. Let's hurry up people!!!! Good luck everyone. smile.png

^ Let us know what your congresswoman finds out!

We didn't send an expedite request (we don't have any reason to expedite), but we want our congressman to inquire why our cases were sent to a place that's not even open yet, and that wasn't going to open for the next 4,5 months. USCIS has said that it takes about 60 days to process overseas petitions, ours has taken now 119 days, so twice the amount of time.

Good luck everyone, I hope those with urgent needs get their NOA2 first and then the rest of us right after them smile.png

IR1 took 520 days....

Our congressman replied yesterday that he has put forward an official inquiry on why our case was sent to a place that was not even open and why they have exceeded the 60 day timeline, which they themselves have announced. We'll see if this inquiry amounts to anything, one can always hope...

IR1 took 520 days....
