may 14th here and still waiting....*sigh*. And I"m an abroad filer too....I guess that 'auto expedite' thing got squished.

I filed from abroad in March. I'm still waiting too. I think that "auto expedite" is long gone.

Hi all

Sticking my face in here. Our priority date is May 10, 2013. Heard nothing so far.

I'm a kiwi , we filed from NZ, my husband is Texan and we bought a house already over there and sold lots of our stuff in NZ so that we can sit here and regret it and feel foolish in this forced limbo.

Hi from a fellow (well, sort of) kiwi! Where in NZ are you if you don't mind me asking? Maybe we'll meet up at the Auckland consulate for our interviews ;-)

We also filed from abroad (May 15th) and were obviously not auto-expedited.

USCIS customer representative told us that NBC Overland Park is open and they are processing January cases now. I'm bound to not believe them.

Does anyone know of anyone whose case went to Overland Park and has been approved?

IR1 took 520 days....

If that is the case, files from Lee's Summit have been transferred to Overland Park, I suppose.

From what I can gather on VJ, approvals are only coming out of field offices lately. I guess Overland Park is gearing up for something, but I doubt they have started processing anything yet. They previously anticipated to be up and running sometime before the end of the fiscal year. They have 30 days left if they're to meet that goal, unless they want a giant backlog of I-130 petitions as a way to celebrate their grand opening.

11/19/2014 - Transfer to TSC

12/19/2014 - NOA2

02/19/2014 - Case no. and IIN assigned; requested embassy change

02/27/2014 - DS-261 available and submitted

02/28/2014 - AOS available and paid

03/19/2014 - AOS mailed

03/27/2014 - AOS entered into system

03/24/2014 - New case no. assigned

03/25/2014 - IV fee invoiced and paid

03/28/2014 - IV package sent via FedEx

Just adding our name to the list of May filers. Our priority date is May 3rd. Just like the rest of you, we haven't heard anything. I am just hoping to hear something by November or December - but who knows. Not us that's for sure.

I just went for an infopass appointment. Totally useless.

File is still at National Benefits Center. There is no reason for me to believe the file will be sent to the Philadelphia field office. Again, they have no estimated wait time. He looked at me like I had three heads when I asked about the new processing center for the I-130 applications. I seriously hate this country so much right now its not even funny. If i was not so ###### with student loan debt I would be long gone already.

^ I feel like most customer service representatives at USCIS have no clue to what's really going on. They are like robots repeating the same stuff over and over again.

I just need to get myself one of these fancy government jobs where i can take everyone's fees...kinda like the following. :P

Bob Slydell: You see, what we're actually trying to do here is, we're trying to get a feel for how people spend their day at work... so, if you would, would you walk us through a typical day, for you?

Peter Gibbons: Yeah.

Bob Slydell: Great.

Peter Gibbons: Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.

Bob Porter: Da-uh? Space out?

Peter Gibbons: Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

I see a lot of people talking about being transferred to a local field office. Frankly I do not know where my file actually is. The only communication we received was our NOA1 which said NBC and our case number starts with MSC. So you guys are probably a lot more knowledgeable than I am. There is a lot of talk about being transferred to a local field office. I am not sure which "local" office we would be transferred to if that were the case. We live on the eastern bank of the Hudson River so "as the crow flies" we are only a few miles from Manhattan, but we do live in the state of New Jersey and Newark is about 20 miles away. So question 1 is would a file with a May 3rd priority date have been transferred to a local field office? If so, how is the local field office determined? Ok, sorry to be asking questions with no answers, but any info would be appreciated.

I guess all of us are just twiddling our fingers or crossing them as the case may be!!

You can identify your field office by ZIP code here (bottom of the page).

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

In your NOA1, left hand side bottom, there is an address. Is it Overland park or Lee's summit?
