I have double checked that email. That is an email I sent to SCOPSSCATA around 2:50PM on Friday. SCOPSSCATA then forwarded to NSC only 4 minutes later, with the note that "for resolution and response" as you see below

From: SCOPSSCATA

Sent: Friday, March 07, 2014 2:54 PM

To: NSCFollowup.NCSC

Subject: FW: Case Number MSCXXXXXXX029 Need help

For resolution and response. Thank you.

And the mail I received is from NSC

I would just keep calling them and put service requests in. The funny thing is though, service requests really don't give you an answer unless something really is wrong. So they just give you any response/excuse to give you until they actually get around to your case. Hope today is everyone's lucky day!

Do you know how long we got response from OLU? I sent them an email last Friday, same day as SCOP. Got response from SCOP but OLU still nothing.

We e-mailed them last week, and then they said they were waiting for a response, TSC responded to a service request saying that it they were waiting on pending hold for background checks...so then we e-mailed them again today, with a few other USCIS workers e-mail as well.. they told us it was with an officer. We then got an e-mail saying our case was approved :)

So I say annoy them so much they don't want to see your name anymore haha

I am very disappointed because after u done celebrating the I-130 approve u have to wait another 3 month for Nvc to receive your case and an unknown time to process your case and send it to the us embassy. My friends the wait time is long. I am trying to discourage anyone but make your mind prepare for the next step that is very frustrated. Get ready for it. I hope that Nvc will will come with a plan to catch up. Bc if they don't , that gonna make things worst and people will wait almost 2 years to get the case complete. It is sad but it is the truth.

It's still better than waiting another who knows how long like USCIS. If you think about it while your waiting for a case number you can get all the paperwork ready and send it all through once everything is paid etc. NVC isn't like USCIS in that respect where it's all on their doing, it's on your timescales too. I noticed a lot of people who were approved in Dec/JAN wrote saying "I haven't heard from NVC for my case number, what should I do?" I think a lot of people don't realise that you're suppose to call the NVC, you shouldn't waited around for them.

Hey can u please help me =/ I have absolutely no idea what to do .. every time I called uscis they told me my case is in normal processing times n I just have to wait..

Have you done any service requests or anything? If you haven't had a response from them, I would e-mail SCOPSSCATA.

Congrats to all who just got approved. It can take 2 to 4 weeks on average to get confirmation of package arrival at NVC

Once you get an NVC received date it is running 20 to 30 business days to get a case #

Once you receive your case# wait another 5 to 7 days and you will be able to successfully log in to your account.

So you will have time to prepare your AOS and IV packages.

Fill out your timelines and signatures and come join the fun at the march NVC thread.

Saylin maintains the spreadsheet on the thread. Just request to be added once your timeline & preferably Signature have been updated.

This is the link to the NVC march thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/483206-nvc-filers-march-2014/

Please take time to read posts 1 and 2 over and over again until it soaks in.
