I got the RFE notice around 6:30pm today. Will I be able to call USCIS tomorrow to find out what it is they need or do I have to wait for the physical copy?

I am happy there was some movement on my case, but I am still sad it was an RFE. Will they approve our file quickly after we send them the requested evidence? Thanks!

Same as mine, they put my case in service request and gave me the number. With those numbers, after 15 days if you don't receive anything from they then put those numbers in the email send to Service Center in the Followup email. Because, if you email to service center they're not accept without request number. Then after 21 days emailed to service center if you still hear nothing from them, you can email to OLUI....or SCOP....

In my situation, I had request number on Mar 3rd, emailed to those address above on last Friday. Still nothing since I know maybe the 15 days not passed yet :)

At least you're happy than me or someone else who still waiting for movement on their case. We stuck at first step (USCIS)for almost 10 months. I dont worry about second step (NVC) and third step (interview) because our son ( 3 months old) was US Citizen and he has his own US Passport. No worry for evidence to prove our relationship is not a sham. Is it correct? Anyone can confirm?

If I am not mistaking, you need to wait for physical copy. When I got my RFE, I send them the papers they requested and 6 days after they received them, they approved me.

For those asking about the RFE, we got one for marriage certificate on Feb 10th. We submitted a copy of the same marriage certificate again with a cover letter explaining it was our real marriage certificate and a paper from civil registrar's that our marriage was indeed registered. We received NOA2 on March 4th.

IR1 took 520 days....

I got this email from NSC FollowUp email

Good afternoon,

USCIS electronic records confirm that your I-130 case is pending background check clearance. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also ensuring public safety, national security, and compliance with all relevant directives. Please note that some applications and petitions have unresolved background check issues which delay adjudication. Although USCIS makes every effort to resolve such cases promptly, USCIS is unable to speculate when the background check process will be completed in your case. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action within 90 days from the date of this email, please contact us for an update.

#######, after ten months still in background check?
