Keep trying! When she called on Tuesday the Tier 1 refused to tell her, and kept telling her he couldn't transfer her or put her through because it's still within processing times. Even when she told him she was over 60 days with no notice of action or decision. She rang again last night and the girl seemed to be more pleasant and she had common sense too. The Tier 2 officer was the nicest she seemed to have so far.. They have been quite good lately. Don't take no as an answer smile.png.

Well, We finally got through to a Tier 2 last week, who was kind enough to point out that it was assigned to an officer.

We just got approval this morning, after 10 months of agonizing wait times.idea9dv.gif

The purpose of a real timeline is to build up statistics data for more accurate approval estimates. So it would really help other members if more people filled theirs in.

Well, We finally got through to a Tier 2 last week, who was kind enough to point out that it was assigned to an officer.

We just got approval this morning, after 10 months of agonizing wait times.idea9dv.gif

Congrats! Glad to hear you tried again and we're approved this morning! Hope ours comes soon :).

30th Dec 2013- Transferred to TSC
13th Mar 2014- I-130 Approved
20th Mar 2014- Cased shipped to NVC.

NVC STAGE

28th Mar 14 Case received at NVC
28th Apr 14 Case # & IIN assigned
13th May 14 AOS package scanned into the system
14th May 14 DS260 available/completed.
20th May 14 IV package scanned into the system

12th June 14 AOS checklist- NVC error-

13th June 14 Supervisor review, said she would remove it when spoke to her. (Up to 30 business days).

28th July 14 CASE COMPLETE!!!!

19th August 2014- Medical

5th September 2014- Interview @ London

05th Sep 2014-Interview

05th Sep 2014- APPROVED! Visa Status Issued same day!

10th Sep 2014- Visa in hand

Some update .......

I called USCIS today, in the first time, I followed the guy in VJ mentioned that when we call dont press any key until the phone will automatic transfer to the person. But the person I spoke to only Tier 1, she told me anything that I saw on case status and cant put my case in service request. After asked for Tier 2, she took a lot of info from me and transfer the call to Tier 2. They put me in hold about 20 mins and then dropped the call due to bad signal. I am so mad and made another call.

In the second time, I followed the guide on the phone. When talk to person, I know that only TIer 1 so they cant do anything. I told that guy I just talked to TIer 2 but we dropped the call due to lost signal ..ect. He asked me " Do you want to reconnect to TIer 2?". Wow, that is wonderful. Just 2 mins later, I was on phone with Tier 2. The lady on the phone very nice to me, her name is Maria. She asked me some info to make sure that I am a petitioner. After that, she so friendly to ask me some thing just for relaxing. She put my case in service request and gave me number with that. Just in case if we needed in the future. She told me my case will be updated within 15 days. If not, just call back with service request number that she gave me or put in follow-up email.

My case has not approve yet, but I feel better after call. I hope it will be approved soon or at least on the end of 15 days timeframe. Count down from today :)

May 8, 2014 : DS-261 Completed

May 9, 2014 : AOS Invoiced and paid

May 16, 2014 : AOS Package received by NVC

May 20, 2014 : AOS Package scanned into the system

June 6, 2014 : IV Fee Invoiced and pay

June 9, 2014 : IV Package sent via UPS

June 10, 2014 : DS-260 Completed and Submitted

June 12, 2014 : IV Package received by NVC

June 16, 2014 : IV Package scanned into the system

July 29, 2014 : Case Complete

Today. @10am. Got a text message and email saying that "your alien registration number has been changed". Now what???

Someone is working on your case. A lot of times when people receive that message, an approval is soon!

Not quite...My PD is May 31st and transferred to NSC on Dec 30th. At what point should I start calling to see if they are working on it?

We called on 60 day mark which was the 28th of Feb. I would call asap and ask for a Tier 2 officer and for an update on your case. You might get a tier 1 officer who will say you're within processing times, keep stating that the letter says to call to query about your case if no decision or action is made within 60 days of that letter. :)

Not sure, a lot of people had an approval of within a couple days or so after that message.. I'm still waiting for ours to be approved! :(.
