Stars on cover sheet of DS-230

hello folks ......

searched in almost all the topics to find this so starting this new topic..........every BARCODE sheet till now send by NVC had the stars on the cover sheet.............

we made the cover sheet of DS-230 using james shortcut....but theirs no stars here.....So the VJ members who have got their Ds-230 cover sheet from NVC...........pse help us.......

Is their four stars in the BAR CODE Cover sheet of DS-230.......

NVC Case Number and IIN Received, E-mails Exchanged : 08-03-2011

DS-3032 E-mail sent by Beneficiary: 08-03-2011

DS 3032 approved 08/10/11

IV & AOS bill payed 08/12/11

NVC receivd AOS & IV package 09/12/11

AOS approved 09/22/11

GOT RFE .... 09/28/2011

now NVC wants to see my original marriage certificate and birth certificate.

Case Complete 10/11/2011 (NO interview in November or Dec@ ABU DHABI consulate )

VISA granted...... 1/24/2012 thank you JESUS

i don't know if it has stars or not as i have not yet been home to get my mail and check it, but i can tell you that i used the cover sheet from james shortcuts and nvc accepted it just fine. good luck

2006-10-05 Received email confirmation of agent of choice

2006-10-06 NVC posts AOS fee payment

2006-10-09 IV Fee Bill generated

2006-10-12 Affidavit of Support package sent overnight USPS

2006-10-21 IV Fee Bill received

The DS230 bar code sheet does NOT have the four stars in the upper right corner. Our DS230 was received on Nov 9. The I-864 bar code DOES have the stars, but the shortcut bar code sheet does not. However, as soulm8z0928 states, the shortcuts work just fine.

I was also concerned about that, when I did my coversheet recently. But I think the last 2 posts clarrified our doubts...

USCIS PROCESS

06-13-06 > Sent I-130 to Californian Service Center.

07-12-06 > NOA 1 Received

07-17-06 > I-130 Checks cashed.

09-26-06 > USCIS touched case.

09-27-06 Case Approved. No RFE or hicupps. Koool

NVC PROCESS

10-04-06 > Case number Assigned.

10-16-06 > DS2032 and AOS fee generated

10-17-06 > Paid AOS fee using Jame's shortcut

10-17--06> Wife E-mailed Choice of Agent DS2032

10-24-06 > Choice of agent accepted.

10-30-06 > IV fee bill generated.

11-08-06 > Sent I864 E-Z using James shortcut.

11-16-06 > Received and sent IV fee bill next day delivery.

11-21-06 > IV fee entered into NVC system

11-22-06 > NVC system tells me some documents mssing or incomplete,. Turns out to be DS230

11-24-06 > Sent DS 230 form with evidence using James shortcut.

11-27-06 > DS230 entered into NVC system.

12-14-06 > RFE on marriage certificate. NVC states it is not the original.

12-15-06 > Sent and e-mail and called to argue that the document is indeed the original. Lady said she will have a supervisor look at it.

12-26-06 > Called again to see if a supervisor looked at it. 12-27-06 > Delivered at the NVC at 11:47AM. Still waiting to hear the completion of my case...

01-16--07 > CASE COMPLETED

03-20-07> Interview in Dakar, CO was not satisfied with Employer letter. Reschedule for 03-27

03-27-07> CR1 Visa Approved was told to pick up on in 2 days

04-14-07> Entered the US, JFK, no hassles.

It does not matter whether you have stars or not on the top right hand corner of the barcode cover sheet.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
