Hi dear VJers,

Our payments for both AOS and IV fee are now in the status of PAID and the whole paperwork regarding AOS has been sent 10 days ago.

Now we are confused as to what to do next.

Are we supposed to get any "package" by mail from NVC or this is it from them and now we just have to download and send that form DS-230 by mail together with the police certificates from the respective countries, the certified marriage certificate and also the applicant's birth certificate?

Or what are the next steps we should do now??

Thank you for any erudite advises!

All i do was i called NVC and i was told to go to their website and download DS -230 and mail it after i mailed the AOS. You can call them or just do dat and mailed it with the other documents with the exception of the police certificate as far as i know. You only sent police certificate to the embassy but i hope more info will come out from different folks.

Just like the AOS once you are invoiced for the IV Bill you were able to send that in why the wait? You can send in anytine. Don't forget the bar-coded cover page from payment portal.

NVC is proactive stage. You are ready so gather all those documents INCLUDING the police certs and send them to NVC with the IV bill cover sheet from the payment portal.
