Ok...so I checked my status today. The petition is 'in transit'. Good news to be sure. It also says that 'the interview date has been provided to you by the national visa center'

I haven't gotten the hard copy yet. I have read in previous posts that I can schedule the interview myself using my MNL number and the deposit receipt number. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Also, my fiance's email address has changed. Do I just send an email to the embassy to change this?

Thank you in advance!!!

Ronn, I don't know about the email addy but you can definitely schedule the interview online using the MNL and receipt number. I got our MNL on Wednesday night and was able to schedule on Thursday. No need to wait around for anything else before you schedule. By the way where did you see the message about the petition "in transit"? On the USCIS website? Mine still just says petition was approved etc.

Thanks!! I tried to schedule the interview, but it didn't like my deposit receipt number. I read somewhere that it may be available after 11:00 next day. My girl didn't tell me what time she did it...I think it was later in the afternoon though. 14 minutes to go...LOL. Am I excited??

still no luck. Guess I'll wait a while.

I know the feeling........When my fiancee' paid it was about 1:00 PM her time and about midnight here. I woke up at 3:00 AM and tried to schedule it LOL......wasn't able to and finally went back to sleep. The next morning I was able to schedule it, I think it was around 7 or 8 AM. You'll be able to do it soon. Good luck...............

Ok...I waited until I got up today. That's plenty of time to update their system..Still no luck. I sent an email to BPI quoting the receipt number. I probably won't hear anything until Monday though. Just want to get this scheduled!!
