Should I e-mail the Consulate?

I've been in AP for a little longer than 2 months, my father in law has lung cancer and doing chemotherapy, but has spent 2 days at the hospital now with very high fever and not getting any better, my wife needs me.

Should I email the consulate to let them know about this to see if they can issue me a temporary visa to visit my wife?

Would you have to go to the consulate for a non-immigrant visa interview? just curious.

Well I don't know your financial situation but why don't just go on ESTA? Also is there any chance for you to have your visa mailed at your wife's place? This way you could spend 3 months there not worrying to get back in case it is ready.

Sorry to hear about your father in law. Happened pretty much the same to me and my husband, we weren't married yet but because of his job and my situation I couldn't fly over there to be with him.

Sending positive thoughts on your way.

Good luck

Giovanna

Thanks Giovanna, the problem is that when I asked the Consular Officer if I could still travel using the ESTA to visit my wife she told me it was not possible because I was under Admin Process, also I thought I had to go through a second interview once the AP is over..?
