If'n you read the whole article, you might have glommed on to the fact that she didn't have a ticket to the dinner, at all.

Ok, I understood that spouses weren't allowed to the dinner. I mistakenly thought she was talking about the pre-dinner thing that she is allowed to go to.

Ok, I understood that spouses weren't allowed to the dinner. I mistakenly thought she was talking about the pre-dinner thing that she is allowed to go to.

She was at the pre-dinner cocktail hour with her husband. They finished up with that, and she was going on to the car to leave, as preplanned, pre-arranged.

Her stupid husband kept the keys. When she realized this, it was too late for her to get to him.

I care enough about security in general to know better than to pi$$ them off by making remarks to them about what they are doing and how they are doing it

well, good thing none of the people that got in, not by showing a ticket, but by being good and quiet and looking the part didn't have any foul intentions, huh..

The part I found amusing is that he mistook her for the party crashers. No resemblance between her and this cheesy blonde.

That is what she says now. Security did offer to escort her, didn't they? Or, did she leave that part out. I have worked security and access control for many events, and this sounds more like sour grapes than profiling. "Special" people get "special" treatment, and she certainly thinks she is "special".

No, she was ineffectual in getting the right security guy to tend to her needs. The dolt that was in front of her, though - yeesh !

If'n you read it you'd see that tiny detail that you just can't seem to fathom and it is this: She needed a ticket to get past security.

You don't get past security without a ticket at any airport in any sh-thold town. Why would an exception be made to get access to the President (even if you feel that "because you are a physician with an important husband with distinguished guest" you deserve an exception?

I am not stupid enough to believe that presidential security screens access to presidential functions based on looks and skin color even if you and your little lib herd are.

You libs come back and cry foul when a ticket-holder gets turned away because of skin color or religious beliefs k?

For sure. If he said what she said he did, he needs to be punched in the face. No excuse.

Well, I haven't lived your life so no doubt my perception is a little different. I don't see any discernible racism in your story. Why specifically do you think the server gave you poor service because of your race? Similar stuff happens to me at restaurants. Sometimes a server has another party and doesn't give a ####### about the two of us at a table. I mean, I guess maybe it was, but it could be many others things very easily.

Here is why I say that. If a restaurant is packed to the gills, and we aren't served, we're smart enough to know the difference. But what else could it have been? That we were Americans? There were a few families in there that were Americans. Was it because they were afraid to speak english with us? They spoke english with the other families. We sat there and watched other families come in and get service while we were ignored.

Just like you blame her for what happened in Boston because she is a Muslim. And the comment you all says that loud and clear, just like you posting videos with vulgarity to get your point across. You're a racist plain and simple.

I have trouble with the OP given she appears to see racism everywhere she goes, plus the OP is obviously completely one sided. Her description of herself appears to indicate that she is always a victim but it could certainly be how she comports herself, in general and at the White House.

Thus I will pass on getting too worked up over the OP.

The problem is you can't get the other side of the story. I guess I am sympathetic because I know what this feels like. It might be over the top but her end piece is exactly how I myself and several of my friends and family feel and go through on a regular basis.
