If your visa is approved you pick it up in 48 hours .

if your visa is approved during interview BUT they said we need more time for AP that's when you have to wait and the timeline is unknown because the AP has several stages.

Congratulations! Do you know what the state department website stated about your case status. My fiance is still waiting for his visa as well. The state department website says visa will be issued in 10 business days. Just wondering if this is true?

I don't know about being specified that much the last 40 days all it said is Administrative Processing when i type my case number but when i got the call todays morning i checked it out and it said issued

i also got a call yesterday to go and drop off my passport and they said they will contact me. So today i got an other call to go ahead and pick it up monday.
