Thanks to everyones posts so far, they have been a huge help in preparing.

Nope, no expience with the SA consulate, but I have a good feeling that you will have something particularly special to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Good Luck!

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

As a member of the November brigade, i can safely say this: the odds are in your favour. I know we may not have accurate statistics to show here in the SS-African section but i daresay there have been little or no rejections thus far.....so you have enough to hold onto and be optimistic.

Thank you for your wishes.... I can hardly breath!!!!

I don't have any experience with the South African consulate. However, I will be sending tons of well wishes your way.

I hope so...I will either be over the moon or crying in my turkey! At least I know that there will be lots of food to console me if things dont work out as we want. I don't know what to do with myself!!!

Thank you that is very comforting. I am an optimist to the core...but this whole process has shaken me a bit. It is all so stressful!!! I just want to know one way or another so I know what my next step is. Hopefully that next step involves a trip to the airport!!

Thanks...I am a wreck. I just hope my guy will survive this process. Immigration is such a mission!!!!

Good luck on the interview! I'm sure you two will do well.
