Try to call NVC next week and inquire about your case number. Who knows? You just might get lucky and would be able to schedule your interview right away. wink.png Good luck!

Oh I'm not that fast. As soon as I got the MNL number from the NVC I had my fiancée go to BPI and pay the visa fee, and I'm on the cgi.federal.secure website now every day trying to get an appointment. After I can get a date, then we'll go for the St. Luke's thing. I wish it was that fast haha. I'm stuck in the finding an available appointment date mode right now.

what is the soonest interview date you have come up with so far, i am going to be at this point in a week or so- as soon as she gets her passport, something we put off till about a month ago thinking it would come quickly- I told her to pay the express fee but I think she was thinking it would not take that long- grrr everyday is like year at this point -

I haven't see any interview dates at all. Been refreshing the home screen every 20 minutes last night late and this afternoon. I understand your frustration--all of the papers we have to get are slow in coming.

I though she would just call to set the appointment - i never heard setting the interview to be a challenge - maybe it being the weekend is the problem??

Getting an interview appointment has been a problem since Yolanda hit and the embassy started expediting those affected (rightly so). And I believe it will continue to be an issue until all those affected by Yolanda have been processed.

Even though there are not any appointments available currently, except for a random cancellation, you will do better to schedule online then calling the embassy. When calling the embassy they look at the same calendar as you would look at online, which currently is NO calendar, but online you stand a chance of snagging a random cancellation if you are persistent with checking the site.
