I went back to my country to assiste my wife with the medical examinations and the interview, that was Dec 13 2012.

After a long day, at the end of the interview they vdecided to keep her passport with her contect information and they told me that they will call us as soon as they finish investigating our marriage.

Since the day of the interview I called and sent many emails, also I contacted a congressman to help me with my case, but It is almost 5 months now and i haven't received anything.

What country are we talking about? If she was put in AP, no one can tell how long it will take and you can't really do anything but wait.

My sons AOS and IV bill shows as paid March 26
My IV bill paid March 26
Both packages sent on March 26
My IV bill shows as paid on March 27th

Current record holder of fastest through the NVC :D

Medical exam in Stockholm April 13th
Interview on May 16th !!!
POE Anchorage July 12th!! 2012

July 2015 n-400 in the mail

September 2015, interview

Thank you guys,

The country is Algeria and this is the recent email that I received from the congressman.

If someone had the same issue with, please tell me what can I do? and how long it gonna take?

We reviewed our records, and the case is still under investigation. We realize that extended processing time can cause frustration to many individuals, and we are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the immigrant visa program is to re-unite families. However, it is very important that we do our due diligence in all applications that involve potential American citizenship, and some cases take more time to complete than others.

Ok, I already contacted the congressman here in Virginia but he couldn't do anything. But how long it may take? I feel frustration.

No one can tell you how long the AP would last. Even the congressman/woman can't interfere with the Administrative Processing. Just be patient and it will end.
