Time from visa approved to getting visa on hand

Hi Everyone

Does anybody know how long it is taking to get the visa package in the Dominican Republic after your visa is approved? If you choose to pick it up at Domex is it currently taking a matter of days or weeks? Is there a faster option?

From 4-7 days is the average. But could be longer. Have you checked the DOMEX website?

No I still have to wait to get approved. I was just wondering so we could plan ahead. I have a feeling that with God by our side we will soon be here together. I am going to check the site just to get familiar with it. Thx reese1.

As reese1 said it can take anywhere from 4-7 day or more depending on the fee you pay which is 9.50(for pick up) or 12.50 for delivery (I sugguest pick up), once you are approved and you pay domex they will provide you with a tracking# where you can log on to there website and track the status of the pkt.

I sugguest that once your interview is done, and all has gone well and if you have access to internet or a computer you log on to https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? to track the issuances of the VISA, here you will be able to see if the visa has been printed and ISSUED.

hello girls,

In my personal case, we had our interview last April 22nd and today they said it was ready for pick up ;)

(my medical results had a typo), it is actually taking less than it took for me.

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
