How do I carry my thick application to the interview?

Use an accordion folder or plastic shopping bag.

I put all my paperwork in an accordion folder, then that inside something similar to a reusable grocery bag. You can see pictures of it here on my blog: http://journeythroughimmigration.blogspot.com/2011/05/interview-tomorrow.html I had absolutely no issues at security.

At least for Ukraine, on the embassy site they say all papers that you bring inside folders, the folders have to be transparent so they can see what's in them. No bags.

Did you have your new forms, and evidence, etc in the accordian file, and the original I-129F submission seperate from that, or was it all just in the one folder?

Well, first off, I was an IR-1/CR-1 applicant But everything was in my accordion folder. The only thing that I had out was my passport and interview letter to get into the consulate as I knew I'd have to have that handy. Looking back though, I would have had two folders, one of just what I knew would be required, so it'd be smaller. Then have all the optional stuff that probably wouldn't have been asked for in another, bigger folder.
