Yes it is really frustrating :( mostly I'm worried because I didnt sent the AOS to attn: CMR AOS, instead I sent it together with the IV package.. I'm hoping that wasn't a mistake.

I dont think it would be a mistake, so long as you put 2 different cover sheet for the packages.

I ve seen plenty of people on here being approved with the 10 business days theory who sent both packages together.

I think it is a proof that there is AOS and IV are 2 separate departments/team and that The IV team is more efficient! :)

Hi,

You should hear something by Friday. Form what I've seen it takes exactly 10 B Days for NVC to review packages, so fingers crossed for you!

I d call in the evening tomorrow if I were you, so it gives them time to review your package during the day.

Let us know the outcome if you decide to call!

I think NVC heard your yesterday's comment from cause sure enough I got an email today. However, NOT the email I wanted to read. Instead I got a checklist email for a missing document.

UGH, I was disappointed in myself coz I forgot to read about the RECIPROCITY BY COUNTRY section and of course, I forgot include something extra that is required for my hubby's country consulate. Who knew! I'll have to make a post about this for my Morocco portal so they don't fall into my predicament. ClockWatch2.gif

So I called and I received bad news and good news.

The bad news: AOS still hasn't been reviewed..

Good news (it caught be totally off guard because I had really only called to see about the AOS): my expedite request was granted!! My husband sent an email on monday explaining our situation and I guess it was approved yesterday.

I asked what the expedite entailed and she said they would be sending the documents to the embassy shortly.. so I asked if they would review the AOS before they sent it.. and she hesitated and said yes probably.. but clearly she had no idea. Now I'm wondering what will happen exactly?

I'm the beneficiary.

I'm only waiting on NVC to review my step sons AOS. and it's been 3 weeks. I called last night again and the woman operator put me on hold to check something. She asked if I used the new AOS forms, because they are working on the procedure for that NEW form!! I asked how much longer could that take and of course she doesn't know...

Such typical Government!!! THEY put the 'new' form on their website for us to download and use. Yet their staff aren't ready to review those forms!!!

Almost as bad as when the IMBRA Law was implemented. USCIS wasn't ready for that law either and wasted months of peoples lives.

So if anyone is sending in their AOS, I'd use the older forms that still work and won't slow it down. Who knows how long this will take them. So pissed off right now!!!

Gonna try again.
