The fees for the medical and vaccinations have always been this amount unless it is flu season then it is more. So the fee decrease is still a blessing.

I am a bit confused. My fiancé got his medical done and was told that didn't have to get the vaccination under the k visa. Was your Fiancé asked to get them? Also, they gave him a Sealed CD envelope and told him that it's not to be opened and they will send his results to the Consul. I thought that he was suppose to get his results the day before his interview? (Btw, he went to the medical 2 weeks before his interview, could that be the reason?)

USCIS

With the k1 you don't have to get the vaccinations now, it can be don once they are in the US. Some say they were also told the results would be sent to Consulate for the interview only to get there and find out they weren't so I always suggest to pick them up.
