Hello all, well it appears are case took so long our NBI is outdated, so we need a new one. Can you schedule a interview as long as you know you will recieve the NBI in that timeframe or must you wait?

i think yes u can if u have the MNL# already. but u have to really make sure u will get the NBI before ur interview date..

i assume that u already know that it would only take 1 day if the name is not a "hit"

but 1 week if the name is a "hit"

but you should also know that sometimes we never know if nbi is having some system upgrade or whatever that it might take 1 month to get the nbi.

in some places, it takes up to 1 month to get the NBI. so u have to be sure..

i see in your timeline that your I129F is already approve, so I suggest get the NBI as soon as your fiance(e) can..

pay thru Globe gcash.. apply online..book an appointment then go to the place where your fiance(e) booked the appointment. fall in line for fingerprinting and picture taking.

We had the same problem. My fiancee' is getting a new NBI in about 10 days but I already scheduled the interview for June 4. The NBI is not necessary in order to schedule.

NBI is not required to schedule an interview, all you need is pay the visa fee and MNL Case #. Make sure you have the current NBI at the time of the interview or you'll risk of delaying the release of your visa.

Good luck!

Yes, schedule the interview.

If you don't have the new NBI clearance by the time of your interview, then go to your interview anyway. You will be able to complete your interview, but the consular officer will issue you form 221g. The 221g will tell you to send a new NBI to the Embassy via 2GO. The process will cost you a week or so, but at least you don't have to reschedule the interview.
